Every project starts with an in-home consultation to view the space, discuss your needs, likes, dislikes, current challenges with the space, and design aesthetic. We’ll do a deep dive with you to know, and see, what’s working or not working in, what your storage requirements are, what your cooking habits are, how and what you like to cook, etc, in order to create the best possible plan for you.
After having measured your space, we’ll develop preliminary design concepts, and include options where possible. Then we will research and select materials and finishes, and prepare a visual concept board to support our design intent. We’ll walk you through the technical aspects and provide 3D views to help you visualize the final outcome. We’re excited to show you your beautiful new kitchen come to life!
This phase is about organizing all of the data collected, finalizing the plan set, schematic details, architectural components and materials, and specifications that create the Project Documents. These documents provide the necessary information for those working on your project to execute our vision.
Once your project is scheduled we concentrate on material procurements and associated administrative tasks, as well as project oversight once underway. Despite adequate preparation, unexpected site conditions may emerge, necessitating swift decision-making and immediate action crucial to keeping a project on track. It’s good to let us know which appliances/brands you want to include in your new kitchen so that we consider them first in the design, but we strongly suggest NOT buying appliances until your plans are finalized and approved. This will allow us design flexibility and ensure that required appliance clearances are met for appliance efficiency and warranty purposes.
Yes, we supply and install all finish materials for your project so you don’t have to worry about any of it. Once your project is defined we will select, coordinate and present you with the finish options for cabinetry, countertop, faucets, sinks, lighting, backsplash, hardware, etc.
