Located on the banks of the river, this home’s entry-level builder-grade kitchen just did not cut it for this home’s distinctive English-style architecture. White, cathedral arched cabinets and doors, in a budget cabinet line, with blue and white tile was so out of place with the rest of this home’s style it was a bit shocking the first time I saw it considering the other elements in the home.
That said, I could really see the potential for this space to take its proper place as the centre of family gatherings and be part of, at least design and style-wise, the rest of the house. With the changes complete now it certainly relates much better to the home’s architectural style and to the clients’ love of traditional European style.
